Learning Objectives

Participants will

Enhance knowledge and skills in delivering research-based education in nutrition, wellness, financial literacy, youth development, food safety, and community health.
Explore strategies to build effective partnerships with organizations, local businesses, and community stakeholders to strengthen county-level programming.
Gain tools and resources to address key health priorities including chronic disease prevention, mental wellness, food safety, Alzheimer’s education, family well-being, and youth health.
Engage in hands-on workshops, tours, and demonstrations to build confidence and applicable skills.
Reflect on professional purpose, develop leadership capacity, and explore strategies for stress management, retirement planning, personal safety, and sustainable career engagement.

Attendees are encouraged to make reservations early. Rooms are going fast and require no deposit for reservation.

To receive the group rate, please identify yourself as attending the 2026 Texas Extension Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (TEAFCS) Conference when making your reservation.

Note: Hotel confirmation numbers will be required during conference registration. A $200 fee will be applied for not utilizing one of the designated host hotels.
