Texas Extra is the official quarterly newsletter published by the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Association of Family and Consumer Sciences (TEAFCS). Its primary goal is to celebrate and disseminate the outstanding work and impactful achievements of Extension Agents serving families and communities across the entire state of Texas.

Think of it as a showcase that highlights:

• Innovative Programs: New and effective educational initiatives related to health, financial management, nutrition, and family well-being.

• Agent Success Stories: Personal and professional accomplishments of the Agents.

• Community Impact: Tangible results and positive changes that Extension efforts bring to local Texans.

By sharing these success stories, Texas Extra helps inform stakeholders, inspire other Agents, and demonstrate the vital role that TEAFCS plays in fulfilling the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s mission.
